There are even some American insurance companies who are catching wind of this movement to go abroad for cheaper surgeries and are rumored to be looking at maybe covering these procedures in their plan.

Mexico has been a common quick way to get some dental work done and even cosmetic work like Botox and lipo. There are many doctors that are in other countries that more than likely studied at the same universities in the Unites State as American doctors. They moved their practices out of America because it cost to much to run their practice. Some of them have moved their practices because were unable to treat their patients the way the needed to. There are many rules and regulations to follow when practicing in the United States that are just not present in other countries. This is good and bad, it is really important that patients do their home work and research on the physicians that are practicing abroad. They should talk with other patients who have worked with the doctors in question and they should also make sure the facility they are working is is a safe and sterile environment.
